The 11 members of Svaters have been fighting from the scene during the last years. After over 400 concerts, Svaters’ music keeps on going through a polyritmic path telling stories of love, protest and everyday life. Their style is a frenetic mash up of rock, ska, jazz, rumba, reggae and much more. A new album and a renewed performance are the stronghold of Svaters’ 2011 adventure.

Orxata Sound System is an artist group born in 2003 in Valencia with the objective to fusión electronic music and tradicional Valencian singing. Its collection ranges from electronic, techno and d&b, to reggae, dub and hip hop. The band is formed by 4 singers, a trumpeter, a bass guitarist and a synthesizer/programmer. Since 2003, all their works are registered in Creative Commons, so far that they can play from Perpignan to Morocco, throughout the Catalan area.
Arianna Savall
When Arianna Savall presented her first solo álbum, Bella Terra, she was suddenly projected into a successful orbit thanks to her great musical talent. Born into a famous family of musician, Arianna Savall has been called to renew the scene of the ancient music, and now she is touring with her brand new album, Peiwoh, featuring musicians like Pedro Esteban and Petter U Johansen. With him, Arianna developed a creative force which comes from Mediterranean and Nordic music, and like a migratory bird they rediscover the paths of the sea and music that have united Scandinavia with the Iberian Peninsula since immemorial time.

Soul Atac is a young group of funk-rock and soul who has combined the typical features of the black music with valencian lyrics. The group edited its first homonymous album in 2007 and now, after more than 120 concerts, Soul Atac has conquered its own place in Catalan music. Their secret? They play that music they would have liked to hear in their own language. Black music, funk, soul: all combined with Mediterranean influences.
