We develop and manage cultural projects committed to the artist and the public
Pro21cultural has run Teatre Micalet, in Valencia, during 2011-2012 season. We currently provide our services to UTE Teatre Calderón, in Alcoi, and we are in charge of the coordination of this public space.
After being remodelled in 2007, the theatre has ideal facilities to host big theatre, dance and music shows.
2012-2013’s programme has been dynamic. The following artists and companies have been with us: Ainoa Arteta; Marcel Gros; Joel Joan; Moisés Olcina; Associació Amics de la Música d’Alcoi; Aracaladanza; Maribel Verdú; La Dependent, with their tribute to Ovidi Montllor; Bolos Teatre; Juan Diego; Obrint Pas; Al Tall; Luis Piedrahita; Goyo Jiménez; Òpera La Traviata; El Nabucodonosor; Cia. Bambalina; Faemino y Cansado; Neus Ferri; Blanca Portillo and Ángeles Martín; Grup de Danses Carrascal; Orquestra Simfònica Alcoi, which also resides in the theatre; the Russian National Ballet; Xavi Castillo; Sol Picó; Alcoi musical ensembles like La Nova, La Unió, La Primitiva; local dance academies, and many others.
This project has been possible thanks to the artists; the maintenance technicians; the theatrical technicians (operators, electricians and assistants); the designer, Josep Navarro; the cultural workforce (Miquel Santamaria, Xenxu, Paloma, Begoña, Xavi, Gilberto); the computer technicians; our maintenance partner, Rafel Bernabeu, from Enilec S.L.; Jero Cobos; María José Llacer, front-of-house staff; Ana Verdú, customer service and ticket officer; Lídia Vila, communications manager; and Rosa Sanjuán, front-of-house manager. It is thanks to them that culture and arts of the stage are alive in such a significant city as Alcoi.
