Dance is my Heroine

To wish you weren’t you and end up being more you than ever. What would happen if one day you found a Wonder Woman costume in a second-hand shop and, when you tried it on, you couldn’t take it off.

Dance Is My Heroine is about identity, about daring to be, about allowing oneself to fail, about disconnecting for a while and returning to ‘real’ life, inviting us to rethink our relationship with our own bodies and our routines of occupying public space. It is also a tribute to three women who have marked the history of dance: Yvonne Rainer, Pina Bausch and Deborah Hay. A multidisciplinary stage proposal charged with humour and reflection, in which Gómez and her alter-ego Fanny de Funny confirm their deep commitment and love for dance.

WASTE A MINUTE - Dance, Video & Social Media Workshop

In this workshop, we will waste time doing seemingly unproductive things like staring at a screen, asking ourselves questions, dancing, laughing, and making videos using only our phones and our bodies. No prior experience in dance or video is required, nor is having the latest smartphone—just the desire to move, experiment, and an interest in video editing and social media. Just wear comfortable clothing, keep an open mind and bring your smartphone.

P e c u L i A r - Dance-Theatre for Public Spaces

Peculiar is a stroll through the surroundings, a moment to pause and observe the world from a different perspective, to look closely and let yourself be carried away for an instant. Peculiar is a safari, an adventure, an extravagant excursion that results in an emotional cocktail that will make you feel two things: happiness and an overwhelming urge to DANCE.
